Recommend it for solo travelers

I loved the beautiful beach so much it was a breath of fresh air compared to Los Angeles' beaches you know. The view from my balcony was something out of a postcard lush green grass and rolling hills with more chickens and cows than I could count made my mornings pure joy.

It wasn't cheap but still felt acceptable for what I got.

Shutters Lounge, where you can eat, is only a short distance to the hotel. It is really close to the airport. Convenient base for a trip in Lihue! Private parking onsite was provided...

The pool area was super fun, especially the awesome waterslide! The room was cozy, but the extra fees were a real bummer. It's a nice spot but be ready for hidden costs 🌊

While the accommodations were comfortable, the additional fees, including a significant parking charge, significantly increased our overall expenses.

The location at Kauai Beach Resort was fantastic. I loved chilling by the pool, especially with the fun waterslide. The lush green views from my balcony were a highlight, perfect for morning coffee. The room was cozy and had great Aveda toiletries that added a nice touch. The hefty additional fees, including resort and parking charges, really took me by surprise. The cleaning service lacked consistency. I expected my room to be looked after more often. It felt a bit awkward dealing with the rude front desk staff upon check-in. They didn't, and that dampened my initial excitement. It was a nice stay, but the hidden costs and service issues were noticeable.

Cool stay with nice views!

We had 8 nights in a cozy mountain view room. Loved chillin' on the balcony with beach toys and drinks. The pool was super fun with a slide! Check-in was easy, but those extra fees hit hard. Food at the snack bar was tasty, though it kinda was good.

I was blown away by the lush green views from my balcony! The amazing pool area, complete with a fun waterslide, was perfect for the family. We loved enjoying live music every evening, which brought the vibrant local culture to life.

The beachfront was amazing for our family, especially watching sunrises while the kids played in the sand. The pools were a hit too-our little ones couldn't get enough of the waterslide. It was a perfect spot for making family memories.

My wife says that the parking fees were unexpected.

It was just a well-suited match for a quick stopover in Lihue with good price value. The pool was really fun and we loved the waterslide.

The hotel's gardens and beachfront added to the magical experience!

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything, making sightseeing a breeze. We loved taking long walks on the beautiful beach, and the fact that the hotel had a Business Center was very convenient for us. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, including free Wi-Fi. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even welcomed us with a refreshing drink upon arrival. We also enjoyed the delicious food at the dining restaurant and the cozy atmosphere of the bar/lounge area. The outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi were great for relaxation, and the spa & wellness center offered a wide range of treatments. our experience at this hotel was top-notch!

Great central location for exploring all of Kauai's attractions. Easy access to Waimea, Hanalei, and Princeville. Nice drive to the attractions, not too long. Excellent pool area, well-maintained. Friendly staff. Perfect location for sightseeing on the island. Beautiful resort. Good food and reasonable price

Nice location and easy access to attractions. The amenities available were great, with a beautiful pool and friendly staff. A good variety of snacks and drinks were offered in the room, as well as comfortable bedding and plush towels.

The fees were very steep, with many hidden costs and could turn the stay into a disappointment for some guests. On top of that, housekeeping services were less than expected, with only one cleaning provided throughout the entire stay.
